The love of a father and daughter is a special thing. A parent always loves their children no matter what even as they go out into the world looking for their big break. That’s what the new song from Amber Hayes – Always There For Me – is about. Listen and see what you think.
Always There For Me – Amber Hayes
The song is a sweet love song for a father and daughter. It reminds me a little of the Kenny Chesney song There Goes My Life. I’ve seen this happen with a few fathers and daughters I’ve known over the years. The daughter leaves to head out into the world and it makes her and dad both a little sad. She’s always been his little girl and he’s always been there for her. Now he has to let her go off and find her own way. It seems like one of the most difficult things in the world to do.
I think Amber has done a great job with the song and getting Richie McDonald to sing along on the vocals is great. He’s kind of a father figure now in the country world after twenty years with his band Lonestar. The band has been quiet for the last few years, but Richie is back and the band is ready for some new music of their own.
Amber has been working on her career for some time now, but it appears like she’s ready to break out and Always There For Me could be the song that does it. The track appears on an upcoming film – Cowgirls ‘N Angels – and it’s supposed to be a great movie. I’ll have to try and check it out.
