There has been no bigger artist over the past five years than Brad Paisley. The twangy nice guy has been racking up a string of number one hits that rivals any run in country music history.

Brad’s latest single is the fifth from his American Saturday Night album. Well…the song is going to technically be the first single from Brad’s upcoming Hits Alive alive, but it was featured on American Saturday Night so we’re going to act like it’s from that album.

Anything Like Meis the song and it sees Brad looking back on the last few years of fatherhood. Brad is married to actress Kimberly Williams (Father of the Bride). The couple has two young sons Huck and Jasper. The kids have obviously had a huge impact on Brad’s life.

Anything Like Meis about Brad thinking about how much his son is going to be like him. The story takes place in the delivery room. Brad realizes he’s having a son and he thinks about all the things that his son is going to do and experience if ‘he’s anything like me’. It’s a cute song that parents will love.

The song is already in the top 30 on the country charts and appears headed to the top five easily. Perhaps it will even become yet another number one for Brad – the guy who seems to send every single to the top.

The song is slow and it takes awhile to grow on you but once you hear it a few times you’ll find yourself thinking about yourself and your own kids and parents. It’s true that we all really do take after our folks. And we can all see a little bit of ourselves in our kids.
