Do you wish your significant other would take you downtown?
Do you love sweet American honey?
If you’re a fan of those songs and of Lady Antebellum it could mean that you’re stupid. At least that’s the finding of a recent study.
In the study (Michal Kosinski, David Stillwell, and Thore Graepel, 2012), researchers examined the things people like on Facebook. There were some interesting findings.
One of the findings should be of interest for country fans:
For example, the best predictors of high intelligence include “Thunderstorms,” “The Colbert Report,” “Science,” and “Curly Fries,” whereas low intelligence was indicated by “Sephora,” “I Love Being A Mom,” “Harley Davidson,” and “Lady Antebellum.”
Back in 2008, when I first heard Love Don’t Live Here Anymore I was instantly attracted to Lady Antebellum’s music. I think they put out some great songs that are fun and light hearted while also touching on some more difficult subjects from time to time.
I guess for me that means I have low intelligence.
What about you?
Are you a Lady Antebellum fan?
If yes, does that make you stupid?
