Alan Jackson
Bio
For the better part of two decades, Alan Jackson churned out some of the biggest hits Nashville has ever seen.
Jackson was part of the hugely successful Class of ’89. Along with Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, and Clint Black, Jackson brought traditional sounding country music back to the top of the charts in a big way.
A chance meeting with Glen Campbell saw Jackson’s wife Denise forge the circumstances that lead to Jackson’s deal with Arista Nashville.
Jackson broke through on the singles chart with second single, Here In The Real World, off the album of the same name.
Later collections would see major singles released over the next two decades.
Jackson is still a major touring act. Jackson remains a big-selling album and single artist as well.
