Bio

Like many country artists before him, Chuck Wicks quit school (college) just shy of graduating. The call of Nashville and country music stardom was too much to avoid any longer.

Chuck began writing songs and playing in the clubs around town trying to cut his teeth and build a respectable following. It’s a common path for many artists.

The work paid off when RCA signed Wicks to a recording contract in 2007.

Chuck Wicks’ debut album was a success on the charts. The album Starting Now debuted at #7 on the country charts. Sales of the album were fueled by the success of the first single Stealing Cinderella, which reached a peak position of #5 2007.

Two more singles followed. All I Ever Wanted climbed into the top 15 and Man of the House made the top 30.

Chuck went on to be a contestant on the popular TV Show Dancing With the Stars. He teamed with girlfriend, dancer, and fellow country singer Julianne Hough.

In mid-2010 Chuck released the first single from his 2nd album. The single Hold That Thought is poised to become another hit for the rising country star.
