Justin Moore brings a heavy dose of the South to country music. He’s an in-your-face singer with an attitude made to handle any criticism that goes his way. Still young and driven to succeed, Justin Moore appears to be heading for a sustained career in country music.

After signing to Valory Music Group in 2008 at the age of 24, Moore released his first single Back That Thing Up. The single made it to the top 40 on the country singles charts, but didn’t make much impact beyond introducing a small section of country music fans to his southern style of twang and good timing.

Moore’s second single effort established his place in country music. Small Town USA had a unique sound with familiar topics and imagery. The song climbed all the way to #1 at the end of 2009 and Justin became a legitimate artist. His next single Backwoods followed into the top ten and made Justin just a bit more than a one-hit wonder.

Justin Moore’s first album has proven successful in sales and he’s found his little niche in country music. The attitude is there and all the pieces appear to be in place for Justin Moore to continue his success in country music.
