Miranda Lambert

Miranda LambertBio

The product of Texas, Miranda Lambert has worked tirelessly – even at a relatively young age – to carve her own path in country music. Lambert is not a pop star in country singer’s clothing. She’s true to herself and whatever she’s feeling she shares through her lyrics, music, and appearance.

Lambert released her first album after a stint on the popular, American Idol-like, Nashville Star. She emerged on the show as one of the fan favorites as she sang her own songs about life, love, and understanding. She didn’t win the show, but was signed to a record deal after doing the show’s tour over the summer.

Later she released her debut album and even though the four singles didn’t reach the peak of the singles charts, the album went platinum on the popularity Lambert had established as a unique artist.

Her next two albums sold equally as well as her singles began reaching higher peaks on the country singles chart.

Lambert reached a level of success no other female artist had ever done in country music in 2010 when her 3rd album Revolution won the ACM Award for Album of the Year. This was Lambert’s second ACM Album of the Year award as her 2nd album Crazy Ex-Girlfriend had won two years earlier. Miranda Lambert is the only female artist to win the award twice (the all female group Dixie Chicks have won the award twice).

With professional success already reached, most country fans can’t wait for what Miranda Lambert has in store on future albums.
