Montgomery Gentry debuted as a duo in 1999 with the hit album Tattoo & Scars. The duo was introduced to country fans that were looking for someone to challenge the great Brooks & Dunn.

Montgomery Gentry is Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry. Eddie is the brother of country star John Michael Montgomery. The Montgomery family was a musical family from the beginning and John Michael and Eddie have taken their musical interests to star status.
