Nickelback is perhaps the most successful rock band of the ’00s. They’ve had huge hits for more than a decade. Their songs have topped the pop, rock, and adult contemporary charts. Their albums have sold millions of copies around the world and their tours have been among the biggest each year during their career.

The band often meets criticism for their brand of rock music – laid back, borderline cliche, immature, and well…fun. The band is a guilty pleasure for most listeners. Fans seem drawn to the unbelievably catchy melodies and fun lyrics the band continues putting out. And if that is Nickelback’s big fault I’m sure they can live with it. The guys have millions of adoring fans around the world and they keep releasing music that those fans love.

Recently the band has dipped their toe into country music a little bit. It’ll be interesting to see if they continue broadening their creativity in the future.
