Tim McGraw

Tim McGrawBio

Tim McGraw wasn’t an overnight sensation.

In 1993, Tim McGraw signed to Curb Records and released his debut album. The album produced a few singles, but none were major hits on the country singles charts. The songs were good, but not spectacular and McGraw struggled to find his niche in country music. The state of country music at the time was male hat acts. On his first album McGraw appeared to be just another one of the several male artists coming out with the typical Nashville product.

However, in 1994 McGraw released his breakthrough album Not a Moment Too Soon. The song Indian Outlaw caused quite a stir for its lyrical content and the song gained McGraw enough notoriety to break out onto the scene. The singles that followed became smash hits and McGraw has never looked back.

In 1996, McGraw met country singer Faith Hill. Shortly after the two were married. The two have been the reigning country music king and queen ever since. McGraw has kept up his hit making ways for the better part of two decades. His albums consistently sell millions of copies while also producing multiple hit singles.

Tim McGraw always seems to be on the cutting edge of things in Nashville. He recorded an album with his touring band. He is one of the original hat acts that is still around as a superstar. McGraw has found his niche in Nashville and he continues evolving and changing as he takes his dedicated fans on a musical journey that churns through all of the emotions we experience in life.
