Bio
Trace Adkins released his debut album in 1996 and instantly became a hit with country fans. The deep voiced singer had a unique brand of country music that connected with both guys and gals. The songs Adkins released were powerful and passionate.
After two platinum albums, Adkins stumbled a bit with his third release. Around the same time Adkins admits to troubles with alcohol. Things turned back around for Adkins in 2001 with the hit I’m Tryin’. The song became a top ten smash hit and Adkins entered a successful phase of his career. More hit singles followed including the smash success Honkytonk Badonkadonk. The song became a craze in country music and expanded Trace’s audience even more.
After a few more hit songs and albums, Trace left his long time record label and moved to Toby Keith’s Show Dog Records. With new music out on the new label, the partnership is sure to be a success.
