I’ve always had an ear for Blaine Larsen‘s music.
The music he’s put out over the past few years doesn’t seem to shoot up the charts, but he records and releases quality songs that deserve a little more attention. I’m not sure what’s keeping Blaine off the charts, but I’m hoping he keeps at it because he’s truly one of the best.
Blaine’s latest single is Leavin’and it’s another good one. The song has a rolling groove with a mid-tempo. The story in the song is about wanting to hop in the truck and leave life behind.
It’s a common feeling these days to want to just get up from the chair and hit the road in search of a new life. Today’s life may not be all that we hoped for. We are either working a job we don’t like or maybe even don’t have a job. And if we do have a job we certainly know someone that doesn’t. Times are tough and getting away in search of a new one certainly has a connection with many of us.
It’s been over four years since Blaine released Rockin’ You Tonight– a great album. I loved a few songs on there including the title track. His singles since have been good and I’m thinking he’s due for another hit.
What do you think about his new song?
