One of my favorite songs from 2016 was A Little Bit Goes A Long Way by River Town Saints. I had never heard of the group before, but that song was too catchy to not love. It was great.
Now the guys have a new song out. I think it actually came out at the tail end of the year and has slowly been building a little following. It looks like it’s already a top 40 country hit in Canada.
Will it become their biggest hit yet?
Bonfire – River Town Saints
There is just something that’s fun and upbeat about these guys and their music. They’re like a mix of Alabama, Little Texas and Rascal Flatts. Obviously they have a long way to go to reach the heights of those country bands, but they have something that is pretty cool.
This song isn’t meant to be about anything too deep in life. But not every song needs to cure cancer. It’s good to have some fun songs about life and love and all the good things.
I think this one is just a bonfire between two lovers. They’re looking to get out of town and have some fun. But it also sounds like the whole small town is going to be at the fire dancing and having a good time.
If you’ve grown up or spent time in a small town you know that this is a pretty common occurrence. And when you have songs like this there is definitely some dancing.
