Bradley West is an authentic.
The other day I heard Till We Get It Right on CML Radio. It struck me right away. The sound is unique. The vocals are captivating and the story in this particular song was something special. Check it out and let’s discuss.
Right away the melody of the song seems like something from the early nineties. I’m almost thinking it sounds like David Ball or another one of the new traditional artists of that era.
Till We Get It Right is about an old time singer that never made it big. He always sang out on the front porch. Songs about life, dreams, and trying to do right by friends and family were the topics of the song. The song has a good emotion about it. I like these kinds of songs with some optimism and the simple life in the country.
Till We Get It Right reminds me of my own grandparents. They’ve been together for sixty years now and they’ve for sure figured out how to get it right. When Bradley West sings about his grandpa it reminds me of my own. My grandpa grew up on a farm in Western Wisconsin. He still gets up early to this day and I think I got that trait from him.
Bradley West is the kind of artist I like listening to.
