Could this be the first top ten single for Casey James?

Casey James got right to business after his appearance onĀ American Idol. He’s already racked up two top 25 singles on the country charts and he’s looking to go even further with this new one.

The last single was a good one, but I think this one has even more potential to reach the top ten on the charts. It’s catchy. It’s something that could do really well at radio.

Check it out for yourself.

The Good Life – Casey James

Sometimes it takes an artist a few singles to really find their groove. Radio has to get to know them and so do the fans. The artist also has to get a feel for what’s going to work for their careers.

I think Casey James is really figuring things out with this song. It’s catchy and fun. It’s that fun kind of romantic song about love and life that makes listeners smile. It’s the kind of song you want to listen to on repeat.

Hopefully this one gets a chance on radio. I think the fans are going to like it and it could really start taking Casey James into the territory of becoming a big country star. Sometimes the third single is the last straw for an artist before people kind of give up on them in the business.

What do you think of the new track?

Chart Estimate: #10

CML Points: 82/100

I agree with you, Dayne, this is indeed a catchy song. I know it makes me smile. Casey is very talented and the nicest person anyone could ever know. The music industry needs a musician like him. He produced songs that all ages can listen to. I want him to go to the top of every chart and stay there his entire career.

I really love The Good Life! I think it’s the uplifting “feel good’ song that this country needs right now. The lyrics really help a listener to focus on what really matters in a happy life. Also, musically, it’s a song you can’t help but move and sing along to. I predict a big hit for Casey with this one!!

Thanks so much for the great review of Casey’s new single. “The Good Life” is such a positive, feel-good song and is definitely what our country needs right now. Casey is such a good role model for others. His live shows get better every time I see him. This should be his first of many Top 10s.

Completely positive song amidst a rather dismal society. It says alot about keeping the right frame of mind without preaching. Before this completely enjoyable song ends…you have an attitude change! lol! It also reveals the heart of Casey. Think thats what I love most about this song “Good Life”

This is a wonderful song by Casey, straight from the heart. When the military choose this song for them, why not us. It’s meaningful and Casey as usual does a great job. There is no one in the business now that is so honest and speaks from his heart. I wake up every morning by my alarm to “The Good Life” Thank you Casey, what a way to start the day. You will be #l.

This is one of my favorite songs on Casey’s CD! Casey is much more than a pretty face, and rocking bod. He is amazingly versatile with the guitar, and writes lyrics that lift the heart! And I dont know any artist that loves playing those tunes than Casey. He is the real deal, the whole pkg and more!

This is one of my favorite Casey songs. The Good Life is optimistic, fun to listen to and shows Casey’s grateful heart for his own life. He is one of the most talented musicians ever and delivers each performance with such soul. Casey James is “One of a Kind”…he has what it takes to be a superstar…it’s just a matter of time!

I love the “Good Life”. Every time I hear it it always makes me smile. It is a feel good song the really lifts my spirits. I really belive that this is going to be Casey’s 1st top 10 hit because it has such range appeal. It is something that most people can relate to. It has really done well on “Danny’s Daily Duel”. Won against Billy Curringston, Phil Vaser, Kasey Musgrave and Little Big Town. Way to go Casey!

I’m not convinced. It’s better than the last single, but I think it may not hold up on repeat listens. Doesn’t have the same catchy hook that some other new songs have.
