There has been a song on AOL Radio New Country First that has been making me rock back and forth. That’s usually a sign that a song could be a hit with country fans. But my tastes are a little different and I know that not every country fan will like this one.
But if you sit back and enjoy the groove on this one you might find that you enjoy it. And if you think about some of the classic songs from years past you might find something more to like about this one. Give it a listen and see what you think.
Country Pride – Buck 22
This song is incredibly country. You have the whistling going on throughout and that’s pretty cool. There isn’t much whistling in country music these days, but every time a song has it people seem to like it. I’m glad Buck 22 was the guy to bring it back in the mix.
The song tells the unique story of the artist and his life. He shares all the details about how he grew up and where he’s at now. He’s proud of his country upbringing and he’s proud of living his own country life now. It’s a unique story, but I’m sure plenty of you out there can relate to the story as it probably shares aspects with your own. I know it sounds like a few things that happened in my history.
Buck 22 sounded like a familiar name and it turned out that it came from the recent Achy Breaky 2 that was really something interesting. It featured a modern rap very of Billy Ray’s popular song and featured William Ray himself…along with scantily clad women.
Buck back to this one; great song and one that can get stuck in your head if you let it.
