It’s Valentine’s Day.
So I hope you’re spending the day with the one you love the most. In honor of the Romance Day I thought we could cover a new single out from one of the bright young stars in country, Easton Corbin. Here is his latest single, Loving You Is Fun.
Loving You Is Fun – Easton Corbin
What a great song for Valentine’s Day.
Easton Corbin had a breakthrough first record. The first two singles went all the way to number one on the charts. I don’t think that had been done since Clay Walker did it back in the early to mid ’90s. It’s quite the feat, but it was no surprise to those that listen to Easton’s songs. His entire first album was full of great songs.
But now it’s time to move on to Album #2 and the first single is a winner.
Those that saw Easton out in concert last year probably heard Loving You Is Fun. It sounds like Easton has been previewing it for the last few months. I saw Easton last summer here in Eau Claire, WI, but I’m not sure if I heard this song or not. He might have played it.
It looks like the track not only made the cut for the new record, but also made it to be the first single. I think it’s a great choice. Easton will likely always be compared to George Strait, but he is certainly one of a kind.
There is a humble nature about Easton. He has a simple appreciation for classic country music and it’s great to see fans react well to the music he is making. While other country artists are reaching into the pop world for success, Easton seems quite happy living well inside the confines of country music. He’s a traditionalist with plenty to offer and I think that trend continues with Loving You Is Fun.
So go out tonight and really have some fun with the one you love most.
Isn’t love supposed to be fun anyway?
Go out and enjoy yourself.
