Eric Church is at a good place right now with his career. His last two singles have both made the top ten on the country charts. His second album Carolina continues selling well and his touring is going strong.
Now Church is releasing the third single off the album Ain’t Killed Me Yet. The song is about a guy getting by each day after being let go by his lover. He thought the pain would kill him, but with each day he finds that he’s still alive. He uses the excuse to smoke a few too many cigarettes and drink a little too much booze, but he feels like he’s living on borrowed time anyway.
With his last single Hell On The Heart it took Eric awhile before taping and releasing the accompanying video, but for Ain’t Killed Me Yet he’s coming out with the video just as the song is reaching the charts.
The Ain’t Killed Me Yet video is a common concert scene with footage of Eric and his band backstage and even on the bus. There is a lot of interaction with the fans – autographs and photos. Smiles fill up the video. The fans love Eric and he loves them right back.
The Church Choir is going to love this one and the song should keep Eric on his roll of success. It’s a potential third straight number one hit.
