Trace Adkins has always had one of the deepest voices in country music. Trace has some new music out this year and the first single is doing really well in the early stages.
Anyway, I feel like we used to have more deep voices in country music. Those manly or masculine sounding guys that really shook the place when they sang.
Anyway, I heard this new song on Wild Country on Spotify and it really stood out. The vocals are unique and the song is a good one.
Fall In Love If You Want To – Gord Bamford
It looks like Gord might be a Canadian country singer. I love what’s going on with American country music, but the more you hear country from Canada and from Texas the more you feel like that’s where traditional country is today.
There are other kinds of country coming from those places, but there are some really traditional things going on. When I listen to this song I get that traditional country sound coming through. It’s pretty cool.
It’s a love song. It seems like perhaps what’s going on is the early stages of love. Two people are kind of feeling each other and thinking that things can go a little further this time.
They’re right on the cusp of letting themselves fall for each other, but that’s always kind of scary.
But now you have the reassurance from the guy that he’s all in. He won’t let this girl down if she’s willing to all for him.
