It’s another hit from George Strait.
King George is ready for the second single from Here For A Good Time. The title track doesn’t look like it’s quite going to make it to #1, but I’m sure George is fine with the result. And besides, Love’s Gonna Make It Alright…
Love’s Gonna Make It Alright – George Strait
You can’t beat that classic twang.
George Strait is back with Love’s Gonna Make It Alright. I’m not sure what’s gotten into George lately, but his songs have been particularly upbeat. This track is sure one of those classic George songs that’s all about putting a smile on your face. Even when things aren’t going your way and bad luck is looking you right in the face you can be sure George will put a smile on your face.
Love’s Gonna Make It Alright sees George at his finest form. His voice sounds great. The song is one of the best of his career. George has sung just about every kind of country song there is to sing, but he always seems to find a way to keep things familiar while still venturing out and trying something new. In these times of difficulty for so many it’s nice to have some feel good songs available on country radio.
George seems to be settling into life pretty well. He goes out on tour for a few shows each summer and usually heads out with another big star like Reba McEntire. He doesn’t go as hard as he once did back in the glory days, but George is still one of the biggest. No other act can hit the top of the charts with the consistency of George.
George has the uncanny ability to find the hits. Recently he’s been writing a few of the hits with his son, but this one comes from outside writers. The song is one of those tracks that will make you want to grab the love of your life and dance around the house all afternoon. She’ll probably wonder what the heck is wrong with you, but she’ll come around and the two of you will be having a great time.
Love’s Gonna Make It Alright isn’t the most deep song in the world, but I think there is plenty of room for simple love songs. Not everything has to be deep and emotional all the time. Love and happiness are pretty strong emotions and any time a song can pull off love with just a simple melody and great lyrics it’s a reason to celebrate.
King George is going to finish off his 50s with a bang. Love’s Gonna Make It Alright should hit #1 on the charts in about 2-3 months. His songs are still climbing the charts fast these days and I’m sure as 2012 rolls around this one will be hitting the top. George turns 60 next May and I hope he has no plan on slowing down. I think he’s been rejuvenated with the songwriting partnership with his son and things are going well.
Loves Gonna Make It Alright is sure to hit #1.
