Kane Brown’s career seems to continue to be on the upswing. He’s been the shining beacon that you can build your career from the ground up. He’s been releasing his music for years on his own and after having some success he was able to sign with RCA Nashville.
It seems like things are right on the cusp. It’s a little confusing what releases are official singles. This one came out a few weeks ago and there’s a new song out as well, but we’ll look at this one.
Hometown – Kane Brown
Kane is still looking for that first radio hit. His songs have been selling really well and that’s pretty cool. They’re selling well without much support from mainstream radio. It seems like the deal with RCA will help that, but they’re still looking for the right song.
This one certainly sounds like something that would fit with the radio audience. The song seems to be pretty personal for Kane, which is something I’m starting to notice in his music. I’m sure his longtime fans have noticed this for years.
The theme seems to be that Kane wants to make his hometown proud. The more I think of it the more your hometown really affects your life no matter where you go. And I can relate to this sentiment that you do want to make your hometown proud with what you do in life. You want people to remember you and to think fondly of you.
Pretty good song from Kane here.
