Jason Aldean is already riding the fifth single from the Night Train album to the top of the charts. With this being the fifth single the chances are slim that we’ll get another from the record even though there are a few good options.
Here is one of my favorite songs from Night Train that hasn’t been a single. See if you get the same impression.
I Don’t Do Lonely Well – Jason Aldean
This would probably be one of the more powerful songs that Jason Aldean would put out if this were a single. I don’t know how it would be received by country fans. I have to think it would do well because sometimes sad songs make us feel better if we’re not feeling the best. They kind of let us know that we’re not alone in our feelings.
This song is about a someone that has lost someone very important in their life. I don’t know if it’s because that person died or if they two have gone their separate ways. The narrator in the song is really struggling being alone and being without this person. They’re doing everything they can to hold on to the memory.
Jason does a great job on the vocals on this one. There are some parts that really stick in your memory and you’ll be singing along with if you listen to it back one more time.
Great song here from another awesome album from Jason Aldean.
I don’t think it’ll be a single. My guess is we’ll have a brand new song out later this spring with a new album to follow late in the summer.
