Here is something you won’t hear on country radio. I think it would be cool if you did hear it on country radio. The great thing about music today is that artists can come along and interpret their version of country music. I think of the most interesting stories in country is what’s been going on at Average Joes. Here is a remix from one of the company’s recent releases.
Jacked Up – Charlie Farley feat. Colt Ford and Bubba Sparxxx
This song is obviously not for everybody. But when Colt Ford started Average Joes Entertainment it wasn’t about doing something that already existed. He heard kids in the country listening to country music and rap music. So Colt figured that the two might as well mix a little bit.
And he’s created a little empire from that idea. I think that’s pretty cool. Charlie Farley is part of that. You have this beat that will definitely get the kids grooving along and the lyrics are about the country life with trucks, hanging out and having a good time.
What more could you want as a kid living in the country? You’ve got music that makes you feel jacked up and you can roll with your friends hanging out and having some fun.
I wasn’t aware of this song until recently when I saw the album Mud In The Club on the charts. This was one of the remixes that is featured on that. I would say I would listen to this one over and over. It’s pretty catchy.
