It’s time for another song from those two Texas country singers: Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen.
They’re two of my favorites and they have that new album out. The songs just keep rolling out and they’re all great. Here is the next one that seems to be gaining some popularity.
Lady Bug – Randy Rogers & Wade Bowen
It sounds like the theme in this one is the hard times that life can throw us sometimes. It happens to all of us at some point. And life just kind of goes in cycles like that.
Sometimes you’re up and sometimes you’re down. And sometimes you can get on those runs where everything seems to stay on the down cycle for a little longer than it should.
So these guys are wishing for some good luck. They’re putting in the hard work and they’re waiting for it all to pay off. It’s a little vague on the lyrics, which is good because then everyone can apply it to their own life. But you hear a few references to farming in there.
And the melodies are great. It’s really catchy and by the end of the first listen you’ll be singing along.
I do have to say that I haven’t heard that lady bugs are good luck. Maybe they’re bad luck. I’m not sure, but I have heard of a few of the other good luck charms in the song.
I guess no matter where we are we all have it in common to wish for the good luck charms in life.
