The young Queen of Country Music Taylor Swift is back in action with the lead off single from her upcoming third album.

Mine is Taylor’s much anticipated new single. The first single from an album is usually full of excitement from both fans and the artist. Taylor is coming off the huge success of her sophomore album Fearless. That album yielded major hit singles including crossover singles that saw Taylor make it to the top of the pop charts as well as the country charts.

Over the past four years Taylor Swift has gone from a young 15 year old singing about high school love and school yard issues to country’s biggest superstar. She still sings about the troubles of her age – barely out of her teens, but Taylor Swift has found her way into the hearts of millions across the world. It’s amazing how a driven superstar can turn her passion for music into something so many music fans love.

Mine sounds like another classic Taylor Swift song. The melody is catchy and fun. The lyrics tell the story of love and happiness. The chorus is upbeat and easy to sing along to. It’s the perfect pop-country song that will find much success on the country charts.

Taylor Swift has taken another twist on the classic love story. She isn’t has literal as the lead off to her last album Love Story, but Mine is still about love and the understanding of just how special that person in your life is. If Love Story saw the couple falling in love then Mine sees them still in love a little way down the road.

The song seems like another smash hit for Taylor and her third album will likely be even bigger than her previous two. TS is on a rocketship ride to new heights in country music. She loves her fans and they return the love ten fold by spreading the word about Taylor all over the world.

Some people think Taylor’s music is played a little too much on radio. I say if it’s good music there is no reason to say it’s played too much. I’m not in Taylor’s core fanbase. I’m more of a casual fan. I enjoy her music once and a while, but I realize she’s not making music for me. She makes music for young females like her and she does it really well.
