Miranda Lambert is coming into her own as a performer.

I saw Miranda Lambert live earlier this summer at Country Jam in Eau Claire. She put on quite the performance as the Friday night headliner. The crowd at the fest grounds was packed all the way back to the slingshot ride (partly due to the free tickets with beer purchase, but also for Miranda). Each and every person in the crowd that reached into the high tens of thousands was captured by Miranda’s ability to entertain.

Recently Miranda stripped things down and put on a live performance for CMT and a small crowd the TV channel dubbed as “Invitation Only”. I love these types of shows on CMT. It allows us fans to get a glimpse behind the lights and the noise and gives us a chance to get to know the stars we love to listen to.

Shows like Crossroads, Cross Country, Invitation Only, Cribs, and the Studio 330 Sessions always have interview questions with country artists. Fans love that stuff. We love hearing about the simple things in life that inspire our favorite country stars.

Miranda Lambert has the sass, attitude and courage to become a successful headliner. She’s heading out this fall with Eric Church to headline the CMT Tour. It’s her first tour as a headliner. If her Invitation Only performance and her performance this summer in Eau Claire were any indication then Miranda is headed for big things as a headliner. She’s going to knock the faces off the fans with her great country sound.
