I believe that Anthony Fallacaro is a new artist for us here at CML. The first impressions are good. He has a unique voice and a unique style. I think it’s something that’s a bit familiar for country fans. Kind of that soft rock and soft country style.
But it sounds fresh. It’s a little different. We’ve had a lot of rock in our country the last few years. But things have been turning a little other way to softer sounds. Maybe fans are looking to mellow out a little bit.

New Town, New Life – Anthony Fallacaro
It’s weird that we just had a John Mayer song yesterday on the blog and now we have this one. Their styles are very similar. Obviously John has had a ton of success doing what he does for a long time. I’m sure Anthony has been doing his thing for a long time too, but perhaps without the breakout success.
But you never know when that can change. This is the type of song that connects with people.
The lyrics kind of leave things a little vague. I’m sure that’s on purpose. The main theme, though, is relatable. It’s about someone that’s either looking for or finding themselves in a new setting. Perhaps they have something they want to get away from. Or maybe it just works out that they’re going to live a new life.
It’s gotta be about a girl. There is a little mention of it. But it could be about many things.
