Alright. David Nail is back with another upbeat song.
David has commented that he feels like he’s in a place now where he can record more upbeat songs. He’s done well with heartbreak and broke through a bit with Whatever She’s Got. He’s opening up a bit and having some fun.
Here is another great love song.
Night’s On Fire – David Nail
There is definitely some pop influence in this one. It’s catchy and fun. You can sing along and enjoy yourself while listening to this one. It’s one you turn up when it comes on.
And I’ve only heard it a couple times.
I like it. I like when artists do something that has hooks and that’s catchy. You can certainly do that with ballads and soulful songs, but it seems almost difficult to have fun and to let that carefree emotion come out in a song like this.
It’s a love song about a couple that seems to be kind of getting away from the world for a night. I wasn’t sure how the song would turn out. That apostrophe in the title could make the song about something completely different if it wasn’t there, but I’m glad the song turned out just how it did.
This one should rocket up the charts this summer and into the fall. I hope it reaches all the way to the top spot, but we’ll have to see.
That will depend on what you and others think.
