Randy Rogers Band has a new album coming out next month. The guys have two singles already out at radio in support, but there’s been this other song floating around radio stations. I’ve been hearing it for a few weeks and haven’t got around to posting it.
I’m not sure if this song is off the upcoming album or where it’s coming from, but it’s a good one.
The song is called Fuzzy. No relation to golfer Fuzzy Zoeller although I’m sure Fuzzy has had a few fuzzy nights during his life. Most of us have.
Check it out.
Fuzzy – Randy Rogers Band
The appeal of this song is that it’s fun. It’s about a guy that has one of those nights when the details become kind of fuzzy. You have a little too much to drink. You go a little overboard on the partying and the next day you’re just trying to remember exactly what went down the night before.
As long as nothing too crazy happens it’s all in good fun and I think that’s what this song is about. I think it’s a great idea to put this song out there for the fans. It’s probably not one that will race up the charts, but plenty of fans are going to love it.
It’s also got a great melody. You’ll be singing along with the chorus throughout the song and that’s one of the biggest indicators of a hit.
We define hits a lot differently these days and I would classify this one as a surprise hit of the last few months.
