For the last month or so I’ve been hearing this song. It’s been on The Highway on SiriusXM. I’m able to play the channel and Prime Country while I’m working and it’s great to hear the new songs and the put reviews up for you on CML.
Anyway, the song is one by Rose Falcon. I hadn’t heard of her before, but that name sounds really cool. As far as I can tell that’s her real name and even if it’s not it’s really cool.
It turns out Rose has been releasing a few singles over the last couple of years. She’s a writer and she’s now signed to Toby Keith’s record label. This is the latest single and it has a really good chorus.
If Love Had A Heart – Rose Falcon
The song is about heartbreak. It’s always impressive how artists can find new ways to sing about love and heartbreak. Somehow Rose found a new way to show those feelings.
I would say the song starts out a little uneasy, but when that chorus kicks in after just a short time the song really starts to soar.
The girl in the song is dealing with loss. For whatever reason the love she had has gone away. It’s probably about a guy leaving. The reason doesn’t even matter every time. It can, but not always. The loss is what’s hurts. It hurts to give so much of yourself only to be turned away.
It’s hard to think that life can be about finding love when you feel this way.
It’s just hard to deal with and nothing people say seem to help.
Great new song from a promising new artist.
