I don’t really know who Shane Gamble is.
After hearing his latest song on SiriusXM for weeks I’m finally getting around to reviewing it. The song is great. I don’t know why it happens, but for some reason I get caught up in these songs and I don’t write down my thoughts.
Well this is a great song. I didn’t really know why at first. Every time the song came on the station I found myself really enjoying it. The melody is amazing and catchy. I think that’s why I like it so much.
Turn My Way – Shane Gamble
I’m glad this song is categorized as country. If you listen close you can feel a little bit of the buzz sound from the rock scene in the ’90s. Shane sounds like he could be the lead singer for Gin Blossoms or Lifehouse. I grew up during that era so I love that music. Maybe that’s the reason I really like Turn My Way.
The song is about a potential relationship. The guy in the song is ready to commit. He sees the potential, but the girl is not ready or is not interested.
If you think about love and how things often don’t work out it could make you sad or at least interested. Think of all the people out there that have affection for someone else. They feel in their heart that things would be great, but if the other person doesn’t feel the same way nothing happens.
It’s a lonely feeling for the one that loves and an awkward feeling for the other.
Great song here with a few levels of meaning.
Hopefully we hear lots more from Shane Gamble in the future.
