Kristian Bush

Country music is better with Kristian Bush on the radio.

Kristian Bush is best known for being one half of Sugarland. He did some pretty impressive things with his last solo album. It was released on an independent label, but he had a hit single from it. That’s pretty impressive especially since he never really sang lead on any Sugarland hits.

Kristian definitely has a unique style. You can tell that he is fond of fun melodies that are a little quirky and catchy, but they always seem to work well. They’re definitely easy to sing along with.

Sing Along – Kristian Bush

Is it possible for a sad country song to make you smile?

That’s kind of what I get from this song. You can feel the sadness in the lyrics and the performance. I think we’re looking at a guy that’s looking back at a relationship that didn’t work out. For some reason things fell apart, but the guy is still able to look back fondly on it.

I don’t think it’s a song about wanting to get back together. The guy knows that things had to move along and the two weren’t right for each other, but he’s still able to look back with love and smile at the entire situation.

He’s just hoping that the woman can look back in the same way. He’s hoping that he did more good things than bad in the relationship. He never wanted to hurt her in anyway.

Bush is with a bigger label now. He’s part of the Wheelhouse label at Broken Bow. They’ve been having success for a long time now and I’m curious to see how well this single does. I hope it does very well.

Chart Estimate: #15

CML Points: 86/100
