Here is a new song that has been standing out on country radio. I’ve heard it more than a few times now and it seems like the listeners over on The Highway on SiriusXM are loving it.
The name threw me off at first, but now I think that Adam Sanders is on his way to making a name for himself. Check out his new single.
Somewhere That You Don’t Go – Adam Sanders
At first I thought this was a love song, but I guess the title kind of rules that out. I guess it’s the uptempo nature of the song that kind of threw me off the first few times.
The guy in the song is suffering through a breakup. It sounds like she was the one that left him or maybe she did something worse like cheat on him and break his heart.
So now he’s out and he has to find new places to hang out so he won’t see her.
If you’ve gone through a breakup you know how this goes. It’s hard to go back to the places you went with the person you were with. You don’t want to be reminded of those things because it’ll bring up bad feelings and you want to move on and feel good again.
So it’s a cool song about something that people experience all the time, but maybe one that’s not touched on in country music all that often…at least not with a melody like this.
I like this one and it sounds like it’s already a hit.
