Jay Putty is a new artist for us here at CML. He’s got a catchy new song out and we’re going to take a look. This is the first time we’ve heard from him, but if you’ve been a fan let us know.
Let’s check out this new song. From the first listen it definitely has something catchy going on and that always seems to be a plus for new artists.
Soon Ain’t Soon Enough – Jay Putty
What a catchy song. It seems to be about a guy and a girl that are just about to start something. It seems like they’ve spent some time together. They’re kind of feeling something going on between them and the guy for sure is really falling at the moment.
He’s kind of at that point where he can’t wait for the next time they hang out. She makes a comment that she’ll see him soon, but that won’t come soon enough for him. And there you have the hook of the song.
It’s meant to be a catchy love song and it pulls that off pretty well. It should be a good song for summer. It’s that time when kids that are in high school kid of have those moments when they’re falling in love and having feelings like this.
I like this song. It kind of reminds me of rock and pop music from the late ’90s and early ’00s. It was catchy and fun and it was something you could kind of drive around to in your car.
This one is good. What do you think?
