Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is having relationship issues again.

Powerhouse singer Taylor Swift is back with a new single. This is certainly one of the most anticipated songs of the new year. Taylor has been one of the biggest stars in all of music for the last five years. Her fans love her and she’s given them a new song that’s different and also really good.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together – Taylor Swift

There are two reasons I like this song, but first let me explain that I really like what Taylor Swift is doing. She has always been a great songwriter and what I think makes her a great songwriter is the fact that she knows how to write a good melody and she knows how to share the feeling she’s going through right at this moment. Those two things seem to help Taylor connect with her fans.

Ok, the first thing I like about this track is that it’s really like a pop song from the early 2000s. I instantly thought of the bands and the acts from that period when I heart his song. It’s really catchy and poppy, but it works. It’s not a country song in the traditional sense, but Taylor has proven that she’s much more than a country singer and I think that’s ok. As long as Taylor is associated with country she’ll bring more fans into the genre and that’s good for everyone.

Second, this song is really different. There is nothing on country radio like this right now and I don’t think there has ever been anything like it before. It’s hard to find something new in country music. There are only so many topics to sing about, but Taylor has found a new twist on the woman that’s having relationship struggles. She wants to leave the boy, but she hasn’t been able to until now.

Taylor has always written songs for her fans. She doesn’t care about the critics and she knows that not everyone will purchase her music. I’m not in Taylor’s target audience, but I understand that her fans are going to love this song. It makes sense to them.

It’s a great song.

What do you think?

Chart Estimate: #1

CML Points: 85/100
