Growing up a huge fan of the NFL my recollection of Terry Bradshaw is being a host on The NFL on Fox. Bradshaw has been a fixture on the pre-game show for years. He’s also done interviews with some of the biggest players in the game on the show for years. This was all after Bradshaw won four Super Bowls with the Pittsburgh Steelers back in the ’70s.
I had always kind of realized that Bradshaw had an interest in singing country music. It turns out he actually reached the top 20 back in the ’70s with a song, but I never really gave it much though.
When I heard that Bradshaw had a new song out I thought it was interesting. It turns out the guy can sing. Here is his great new song.
Lights of Louisiana – Terry Bradshaw
This is a good song. It’s about Christmas back in Terry’s home state. He loves everything about the time he spent back there and I believe he still lives there today. The song has that feeling of a classic Christmas song. I think it’s a new song, but I could be wrong on that.
Overall you have to hand it to Bradshaw. He has a good voice and it’s one I think people will buy because they like it instead of just out of curiosity.
Word on the street is Terry will release more music next year and it’s also interesting that his daughter is currently working on her debut country album.
