Cash Creek

Some of us can’t learn from the mistakes of others.

Here is a new act for us at Country Music Life. It seems like these guys have been making country music for a long time. They might be on the cusp of breaking out to a larger audience.

And they have a good new song off a new album that is pretty catchy and seems to be getting some attention. There are some lessons in this song that many will relate to.

For some of us it doesn’t really matter what all the signs say. We just have to learn it all the hard way.

The Hard Way – Cash Creek

This song reads like life for a lot of blue collar folks. Growing up in small towns with great people and great experiences.

But the one theme through it all is that some of us just have to learn every lesson the hard way. Getting into trouble with the cops. Getting into trouble with drinking and partying and all those things.

And probably a little heartache with love and all that goes along with it.

We see others making mistakes. As we’re growing up we really see when others do things the hard way and even in spite of all that we still do the same things.

This is a pretty good song. It’s got a pretty good melody. The end is kind of funky and makes you do a double take a little bit, but it kind of works.

I hope these guys do well with this new album. I think people are already digging it.

CML Points: 85/100

Thank you for bringing attention to one of my favorite bands. I’ve been following these guys for awhile and they just keep getting better and better. Love this new song.
