After a debut album that featured five hit single including 4 number one hits and another number two hit the Zac Brown Band has released the first single from their second major release.

As She’s Walking Away (Feat. Alan Jackson)has a great fiddle introduction followed by trademark harmonies from the band.There is a classic feel to this song as the lead vocals tell the story of love at first sight and the personal fight about whether or not to ask a beautiful woman to dance.

ZBB brings in a traditional country heavy hitter with Alan Jackson. AJ lends his classic vocals to the last few chorus and verse parts and it makes for a surprisingly awesome combination.

As She’s Walking Away (Feat. Alan Jackson)is the story of a guy falling in love with a woman as she walks away from him. He must decide if he she go for it and talk to her, even ask her to dance. He is unsure if he should just let her walk away and become the next in a line of one’s that got away.

Alan plays the wise man in the second verse that tries to get the narrator to ask the gal to dance.

What I like most about this song is how different it is from everything else on country radio today. There are just no other songs with this kind of ’90s feel to them. For those that remember, ‘90s country music was a amazing. The artists of that time including the great Alan Jackson laid down some mean steel guitars, fiddles, and vocals that screamed authentic country. The Zac Brown Band is bringing a little taste of the ’90s back with this song and it’s a welcomed addition to radio today.
