Dustin Lynch broke out big time a couple years ago with his ballad Cowboys & Angels. Since that success, Dustin has steered clear of ballads. He’s put out a couple uptempo country rockers. Both became pretty solid singles and Dustin has made his way into the speakers of tons of country fans.
Now he’s moving on to his sophomore record and it starts out with a really good song. Check this one out. It’s not a ballad, but it’s not an uptempo rocker.
Where It’s At – Dustin Lynch
I think this song will get Dustin back in the top ten on the charts. It’s got a fun little groove that’s kind of laid back and kind of romantic. It’s the type of song that’s doing really well at radio these days. You’ve heard songs like this from Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Joe Nichols and a few others.
The song is that simple kind of love song where it’s all about the early romance and those feelings of joy you get when you’re around someone that makes you feel good. It’s a little reminder to everyone out there that new love is possible no matter where you’re at in your life.
Great song here from Dustin. I think it will do well on the charts, but let me know if what your thoughts are.
