By now everybody has heard the hit single, Wasting All These Tears, by Cassadee Pope.
I’ve been hearing more songs off of Cassadee’s first album and they are really good. It’s catchy. It’s emotional. The songs are top notch and it’s going to be a few years for Cassadee to go on a run of successful singles.
One of the promotion singles is 11. Check it out and see what you think.
11 – Cassadee Pope
This is an interesting song. It’s something too many kids have to go through, but we rarely get to look at the situation from the eyes of the kids. When parents get divorced it’s usually for the best, but the kids in the situation often struggle even if that wasn’t what the parents wanted. They just had to get away from each other and maybe it does turn out better than it would if they had stayed together.
That’s what this song is about. It’s very honest. It’s very visual and it hits home to the listener.
It’s a great song and one of the great examples of what Cassadee has on her new album. It’s going to be a bit hit album. I think it will be one of those slow burners that stays on the charts as each single rises up the charts.
Great song and great album.

good story song, It seems to me that more women are singing good country songs and guys are trying to be “POP” with “rap” lyrics. Thank God for country women.
