6 New Country Artists You Need To Watch

July 3, 2017 by Sammy Ochoa Leave a Comment

With all the new country artists either crossing over from pop to country or beginning their career as a country artist it can be difficult to ever really notice them. While some stars get the fame because of their stardom in pop there are country stars who actually have the talent.

Here are six new country artists you need to keep an eye because they are going to make it big someday and it’s self-satisfying to know of a country artist back when.

  • Morgan Evans

This name might sound familiar to you. Another rising Aussie coming over to the country side. Morgan Evans has been around since 2014 when he released his self-titled debut album. Evans has been singing with a band since the young age of thirteen and he’s not slowing down. Morgan recently has been signed to an American record label company, Warner Bros music and we should be expecting an album from him soon. He also played at the CMA Fest this past summer and is newly engaged to country star Kelsea Ballerini. They shared the news via Instagram Christmas Morning in the year two thousand and sixteen and will be getting married very soon most likely in the next couple of weeks. While we’re waiting for Morgan to let out his much-anticipated album you can find some of his mashups of country songs on his YouTube channel: Morganevanstv.

  • Jordan Davis

Signed to Universal Group Nashville working on his debut album, Davis is a singer songwriter who moved to Nashville following in his brother and sister’s footsteps. He let out his first debut single, “Singles You Up,” on the twenty sixth of May this year. It has the electric feel of Sam Hunt with the country flare of Brothers Osborne. We hope to get an EP or better yet an album from him sometime later this year or early in 2018. Davis grew up in a music household so there’s no guessing why he went to Nashville to chase after his dreams. You can find Davis’s single on any streaming apps and you can buy merchandise on his website Jordandavisofficial.com.

  • Adam Craig

Adam’s first single, “Just a Phase,” just recently hit country radio stations and he is currently on the road with Mr. Luke Bryan on the Huntin’ Fishin’ and Lovin’ Everyday tour. He let out his EP in 2016 and is signed to Stoney Records. You probably have known of Adam Craig for a while without even knowing. Craig has co-written hits like Jason Aldean’s “Church Pew or Barstool.” He also helped co-write “World to Me,” sung by Dustin Lynch and “Whiskey on my Breath,” by Love & Theft. We’ll be sure to keep an eye on Craig as we hope to hear more from him soon.

  • Brooke Eden

A blonde country cutie who has literally taken the country music world by storm. The thing with Brooke though is she isn’t exactly new to the country music industry but more so refreshed and ready to come back with her hit and single, “Act Like You Don’t.” Eden is nothing short of amazing and a real rock star. She has already opened for country superstars such as Alan Jackson, Sugarland, Florida Georgia Line and Tim McGraw. Eden is currently on her summer tour hitting Arizona, California, and Tennessee so get tickets while you can.

  • Ryan Hurd

Hurd just let out his self-titled EP which includes hits like, “Love in A Bar,” and “We Do Us,” he is a lyrical genius who has the look of Jesus and a voice mixed with Brian Hubbard from Florida Georgia Line and Tim Mcgraw. There is no doubt this guy won’t be a legend and what’s better than one legend when they are married to another Legend? Nothing.  Yes, that’s right Ryan Hurd is dating to fellow country artist, Maren Morris. Hurd isn’t just a singer but a songwriter writing hits for Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley, Jake Owen and even his girlfriend, Morris as well as many others. Ryan is partnered with Sony Music Nashville and I know many of us fans already want another record.

  • Chase Martin

Can you say born a country star? Because that’s what a Chase is! She is definitely a mix between Carrie Underwood with that powerhouse voice and Kelsea Ballerini because she ain’t afraid to be herself and she’s a practical angel to her fans. We should be expecting new music from Chase soon but until then you can jam out to her acoustic originals such as, “Tangled” and “Love Me Out Loud.”  On her website. You can also check out her YouTube channel where she posts covers such as, “God, Your Mama, and Me,” “In Case You Didn’t Know,” and “Yeah Boy,” and if you want to connect with her via social media then you can join her for her #SlumberPartySunday where on select Sundays Chase will go LIVE on Facebook and Instagram and take cover suggestions from you!

What are you waiting for? Go look these artists up! You’ll have them on repeat for days. Until next time (like always) keep listening to country music.
