Country music really is worldwide. I learn that more and more each time new songs come across my desk.
And it’s happened again with this new one from Kevin McGuire.
It looks like he’s a UK country artist. I have to be honest and say that I don’t know much about the country scene over in the UK or in Europe.
But we do get some songs from over there and usually they’re good. I think they’re usually on the pop side, but I like that sometimes.

The first thing I thought of when I listened to this song was Hunter Hayes.
Hunter came out a few years ago and quickly built some momentum with upbeat songs like this. He just had an excitement about him.
Since then his career has stalled a bit.
But fans showed that they love this kind of music in the country world. Upbeat. Energetic. Feel good. Maybe there is a void here now and maybe Kevin McGuire can be the one to fill it.
The lyrics are pretty straight forward for a country love song. We have two folks that are out having a good time. They’re falling in love. They’re not really thinking too far ahead in life. They’re just living for the moment and having a real good time together. Getting to know each other and seeing if they have a future.
It’s really catchy. Will it catch on in the US?
