Eric Paslay is grateful for the angels in his life.
Eric Paslay is working on releasing his next album. The first single did pretty well on the radio charts. It peaked just outside of the top 30 and that’s not bad for a new artist that’s still working on a major breakthrough (although he’s had a few big hits already…).
This next one is a little different, but it has Eric’s style. I think you’re going to like this one.
Angels In This Town – Eric Paslay
The hook on this one is that a guy feels the power and the love he’s receiving from something out there. It sounds like there have been some close calls in his life and he always seems to come out on the right side of things.
And the biggest thing for him is that he was able to find and be with the one that he loves the most. There seem to have been many different things that could have changed the course of the future, but things always seem to work out for the best or at least for what he appreciates.
That’s kind of how I’m looking at this one. I look at it as a song about gratitude. If you pay attention in life you’ll find that everyone goes through a certain amount of difficulty. It’s kind of the way life works, but if you also pay attention to the happy people out there they are usually the ones that recognize the good that they have in life.
Maybe we all have angels watching us, but the key is recognizing how they’re part of our life.
