Truth and Salvage Co

Here’s a new song that’s been making waves with folks.

This is a really cool song that’s been playing on the radio the last few weeks. I’ve been meaning to get around to sharing it with you and I’m glad you’re going to get to hear it.

You won’t find many songs like this one out there right now. There is a sound here that isn’t on the mainstream country charts.

Check it out.

Appalachian Hilltop – Truth & Salvage Co.

One of the surprises of the last few years has been the rise in popularity of the Americana or Folk music. Bands like The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons have had huge hits the last couple years. There are a number of other bands just like them with this kind of sound.

I think the Truth & Salvage Co. band fits right in there, but they too have their own style. It’s something that will take people a little while to discover, but once they do they’re going to fall in love with it.

This song is one that’s been getting play. The melody is catchy. The chorus is catchy. It’s one you will enjoy listening to over and over. It stands out if you’re listening to the radio in a good way.

The song is about rural life in America. There are vivid memories and images in the lyrics. If you grew up in the country you’ll recognize some of the lyrics and it might make you yearn for home.

What do you think?

I couldn’t agree more. I happen to be friend’s with this band and they are truly talented songwriters and musicians. If you haven’t experienced them live ….then I highly recommend you do…you won’t be disappointed.

this is a classical sound right out of Appalachia,…..nothing better..!!!
Country music would be wise to return to this type of homebred sound….
