One of my favorite topics.
I hadn’t heard of Kevin Fisher before this past week.
It looks like he’s a respected songwriter in the music world with a few cuts and singles from some big time artists.
The cool thing about the times we live in is that songwriters don’t need to necessarily land a major label deal to release their own music.
These are creative folks. Many want to song write for others, but many want to release their own recorded music.
With streaming services like YouTube and Spotify and others they can do just that.
And Kevin has really taken the concept album idea to a new area. He did an entire album about beer. I love that idea.

This is an anthem song. One that aims to get people ready for a good time on the weekend. Or maybe not even on the weekend.
It’s about getting a beer to enjoy life a little bit. With friends. Because your job is wearing you thing. Because you’re celebrating something. It doesn’t really matter. There are so many reasons to enjoy a nice cold one and maybe a few more while you’re at it.
It’s a catchy song. Nothing that will be earth shattering or anything like, but that’s not what this one is about or what the entire album is about. Just good songs with good melodies about a topic that lots of us out there love.
I think I’ll have a beer now.
