It sounds like another really good song from Kevin Fowler.
I think Kevin Fowler has been out there on his own for a while now. I don’t think he’s been on a label and he seems to be doing just fine on his own. I think his last album had a really strong debut and he keeps putting out these catchy songs. Here is the latest.

I guess you could call this a love song or maybe those would-be love songs. You have two people that are kind of on the brink of falling for each other for a night and maybe for the rest of their lives.
But there is a little hesitancy. It’s feeling too good and with their experiences that usually means that it’s too good to be true. They don’t want to keep on going and end up getting hurt like they’ve been in the past.
And that can really happen. When you lose in love a few times you start to question everything about everyone else and about each other. But sometimes that pull of the new person is too strong and you have to give in.
I think that’s the ending of this song and it’s a good one. It’s a little traditional country with a fresh sound and there is a little heart in this song. And people always seems to like that.
