This is a pretty good one.
I wasn’t sure if the name Adam Doleac rang a bell in my head. But usually what I’ll do is search the blog to see if I’ve written about an artist before writing about their new music.
And a song from Adam popped up from way back in 2014. That just goes to show how long the road is for so many of these artists in country music. Adam has been working hard and releasing new music for years.
He has a new EP out and this song popped up on New Boots on Spotify. After listening through that playlist a couple times this song stood out. So I thought I’d share it with you.
Bigger Than Us – Adam Doleac
I like Adam’s voice. It has a pleasant sound. It’s got a little twang, but also has that pop thing going on. Not over the top or anything like that, but just pleasant. And the song fits his style well. It’s kind of in that Blake Shelton and Chris Young vein. A straight ahead love song, but a good one with a really great melody.
And the production is good on this one. It sounds like a song that belongs on the radio. It’s big without sounding too over the top. But by the end you find yourself feeling uplifted and singing along. I’m sure that’s not an easy thing to capture in the studio.
Anyway, I’m curious to see if you’re an Adam Doleac fan. He’s been around awhile and I’m sure he has a good sized fanbase out there.
