A poignant new one from newcomer Zac DuBois.
Here is a newcomer for us here at CML.
It’s Zach DuBois and he has some great new music coming out. It looks like the album is due out later this fall.
But he’s already put out the early 3-pack that many artists are doing these days. Just a little teaser for the fans.
And it looks like one of those songs is called, Bleed Red. So we’re going to check that one out.
Bleed Red – Zach DuBois
The title caught my attention at first. I thought it was a cover of the Ronnie Dunn song from a few years ago. Well, I thought it was a few years ago, but it’s already been six years.
This is a new song, anyway, but the theme is similar. And it’s one that gets you thinking. The theme is about loving one another. There is so much hate in the world today. We hate each other that we’ve never even met.
Yet we all bleed red. We all live on the same planet. We all make mistakes and we all get hurt. It’s something that many of us forget. And I’m writing that to really preach, but to remind myself that we’re all members of the same human race.
Zach has a pleasant voice. I can sense some twang in there. So he’s obviously got some country influence in his music. I’ll have to do a little more digging to see what his background story is.
Until then, watch for those new songs coming out and let me know what you think of this one.
