Have you ever felt this way about love?
Here is a new act for us at Country Music Life. They reached out with their new song that came out this spring. It’s got a good groove to it and I’m digging the style.
I don’t know much about the duo so if you know them please fill me in a little bit.
And in the meantime we’ll check out this song.
Born Again – Broken Halleluyah
The story in this one seems to play on the Sunday kind of thing. A woman has come across a new guy in her life. It’s kind of that new love thing. She’s really feeling the relationship and the only thing she can think about is spending time with him.
To her, it’s like she’s been born again. Maybe she’s had some difficult relationships in the past. Maybe she’s been soured on love for a long time. That would be expected after a few bad relationships. Many people out there have probably felt that way.
And then hopefully they come back when someone comes into their lives that completely changes their perspective. Someone that can show them what good love is supposed to be.
This one really has some great things going on. The song is a little rock. It’s got some soul, which I like. It’s catchy and sounds like something that could work in the modern country world.
I like it. I’m curious to see how the country world responds. I think this group is out there doing the independent thing, but you never know what will catch on these days.
