Dean Brody Love Would Be Enough

Another cool one from Dean Brody.

Here’s one from Wild Country on Spotify. That’s one of my favorite playlists. They always have songs that are kind of on the edge of country. You’ll get a few mainstream hits on there once in a while. They have songs from the mainstream artists that are a little on the experimentation side, but I like mostly that they introduce some new artists.

Dean Brody has had a few songs on CML before and we’re going to check out a new one. This one has been on the playlist for a while and it’s always kind of stood out when I’ve been listening.

Bring Down The House – Dean Brody

I would classify this one as kind of a party or dance song. It’s definitely country and I like that, but there are some elements of modern country music especially the dance music that you’ll hear in the country clubs.

This one will get you on your feet. It kind of builds slowly at first, but that little back beat is always there and it slowly builds and builds until you’re finally out there shaking it with all your friends.

The song, I think, is about a guy that’s out to have a good time. He sees a girl that is kind of catching his eye and he’s kind of making his moves and looking to make a love connection on the dance floor. It’s not a new story in country music, but this is definitely a unique sound and take on the situation. I like it.

What are your thoughts?

CML Points: 84/100
